Poured from a 650 ml bottle into a standard pint.
A: Medium amber hue. Pours a 2 finger, dry, bubbly, white head. Settles slowly. Reminiscent of a root beer float. Dry persistent lacing.
S: White bread, nuts, and caramel. Hint of dish soap.
T: Bitter pecan shells, rye bread, faint sweetened tea.
M: Shallow feel. Bitter throughout. Has something of synthetic character to it. Steely finish.
D: Session.
Atmosphere is okay. Shallow hue, large persistent head, and some fair dry lacing. Nose is rye bread and caramel. Bitter, pungent, with a synthetic feeling sweetness to it. Overall, this is an okay quaff.

Newish Texas beer I've never gotten before. It pours a reddish amber color with a small, fading head. The nose is nothing special. Very light hops, with some sweet malt. Surely this isn't an IPA. The taste offers very moderate bitterness, but there's little hop flavor to be had.
Completely unremarkable beer. Avoid.

This pours a crisp golden color with a light spot of red. There is a 1in head that lingers but that isnt very clean. Reminds me of homebrew. There isn't much aroma but you do get some nice citrus with a big whiff. Taste starts with some bitterness then really does finish very crisp and clean. The hops are the star during the whole drink but dont truly impress. The finish is nice and it is drinkable. This is my first taste from this brewery and it seems like they have a good idea on this one but need to work on it...nice starting point though.

The beer pours an amber color with a white head. The aroma is very faint, but gets a little more noticeable as the beer approaches room temperature. I get a little bit of pine in the aroma, but that is about it. The flavor has some pine and grass notes, as well as some biscuit malt. Overall, the beer is quite bitter and a bit hard to drink. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
