My go-to bottle shop in Brooklyn. Outstanding selection, including many hard-to-find beers in NY, such as Westbrook and Crooked Stave. The service is top-notch, they really know their craft beers. As far as prices are concerned, I find them to be the most reasonable in this trendy neighborhood! Overall, when I'm in Brooklyn, I make it a point to stop in, and I rarely leave without a few great finds!

Prospect Heights Beer Works has an amazing, large, and strongly curated selection of great bottles at reasonable prices. There are lots of Belgians, recently including Drie Fonteinen and Fantome, many saisons, sours, and wilds, and harder-to-find American, Canadian, and gypsy micros (Maine Beer Company, Crooked Stave, Dieu du Ciel, Nogne O, and many others were well-represented on a recent visit). They also fill growlers. I'm happy to have a world-class bottle shop in the neighborhood.

I've been skipping by my local store lately to walk a few blocks further and go to this store. The reason being is that you can't always trust how certain stores keep beers, but here they know their stuff. Additionally, the prices are better than the place closer to me. They also have some really obscure stuff, and some things that clearly have been passed over by the local folks. For example, Drie Fonteinen Oude Geuze Golden Blend has been on the shelf for 2 weeks now, and only priced at 20.99.

I know they've gone through some management changes lately, and for a while the quality had really dipped. But it seems like they've gotten back on good footing, and as long as that's the trend, I'll be walking a few extra blocks to buy my beer.
