The only restaurant in Danville that makes an attempt to cater towards craft beer lovers. 4 beers on tap that change regularly plus the best bottle selection in town. I wish more restaurants would take a cue from Jake and Connie and offer up more that just fizzy yellow water. The food is always excellent and the staff and owners are courteous and friendly. I will continue to be a regular as long as the great beers keep being offered. If you like craft beer, this is pretty much your only restaurant option in Danville and they do a great job.

Stopped into this location twice while on a business trip to a local chemistry manufacturer. If you are familar with the area you will know the double bridge that connects Riverside Dr. to downtown. This location is directly ahead of you as you cross over the river. Parking both nights was quite easy with quite a few spaces directly across the street from Jake's. There is a small patio area for seating on the sidewalk as well with covered tables. Upon walking in the theme seems to be more of a modern industrial look with the decor around with just a kiss of artsiness. The hostess station is directly on your left as you walk in the door. There is plenty of seating here with your choice of low-top tables, high-top tables, and also bar seating. The beer list that they give you is quite impressive for what appears to be a craft beer wasteland compared to other cities I've visited. Almost all the bottles listed were from craft breweries, so there was no shortage of selection. They of course did carry BMC stuff, but it was bottle only as all the taps were reserved for craft brew. While I was there they had Bruery Trade Winds on and a few others including a Russian Imperial Stout. The food was also a very nice highlight on these visits. The menu changes often according to our servers. I personally had the Baja Mahi-Mahi tacos and Crab Cakes while I was visiting there. If they are on the menu and you like seafood, you definitely can't go wrong here. Trust me on this one! Overall this was a very nice little spot to go hang out for a drink, catch some food, or also take a date. They had live music playing on Thursday night while we were there, but I don't know if this is a common occurance or not. I will be going back if I am ever up this way again. I suggest you do the same!
