Cloudy dark amber with steady white froth.
Candy corn nose with no real hops.
Grainy rusk biscuit with some caramel and pear then a lightly grassy end that gets grassier still and gains some hints of pine and tangerine as it warms.
Slight orange rind end and herbal bitter linger. Light to medium, some chew, round.
This play like a Brooklyn Lager/Sam Adams gateway beer – balanced, toned down, inoffensive. But it’s way too flaccid to work as an APA; you have to hunt for the Cascade behind all that Saaz. Unfortunately says more about the local palate than it does about the brewer.

On-tap. ½ pt glass. Deep amber color, cloudy appearance. Off-white froth shows lasting & close crown. Floral hues & slightly yeasty to the nose. Toasted malt at first sip, no-cloying but crispy sensation. Light body. Moderate carbonation. Texture tends to watery. A subtle citric bitterness arises in the middle with fruity notes. Long & gentle malty finish. Good as a session beer. Refreshing & easy drinkable.
