A frequent stop on my usual beer journey around Red Lion/Dallastown area. Absolutely no complaint about any of the food. Great selection and some of the best wings in York Co. The bottle shop has a decent selection. Would like to see them move one of their racks and get another cooler or two in there for bottles. The taproom was a welcome addition. 40 rotating taps is a treat. The staff in the restaurant and bottle shop are always friendly and willing to help.

The staple to this place is Vince. The guy knows his beer and is a pleasure to talk with. Seems to do a great job at getting limited releases and other selections into the shop for his customers.

The only minuses I have with GC are small and both have to do with the taproom. The first is the staff behind the bar. They have very limited knowledge as to what they are pouring and are not very helpful with questions from non-BA's. The other is the size of the taproom. The issue with the size is the noise. Not sure what could be done but when you get more than 5 people in there it gets incredibly loud. To the point of being uncomfortable. Again, these might be considered nit-picking, but it is what it is. I still enjoy the place.

This is easiest the best bottle shop around with a small but great selection, and the best single bottle prices I've found in this area. To top it off, the service is always exceptional. They've also recently added a bar with a great selection of about 40 beers on tap, and growlers to go. If you're in the York, PA area and want some quality beer, this is the place to go. Oh, and the subs and pizza are great.

Finally got a chance to check out the bottle shop during a recent visit. It's a pretty small/tight quartered area when you walk in to the right. The selection though, is outstanding for the area. I've been to all of the usually places in the greater York area, and none have had the selection Golden Crust has.

They have 2 or 3 shelves of bombers/750s as well as 2 or 3 coolers of 12oz bottles. I ended up picking up:

- Spring House Big Gruesome @ $8.25
- Troegs LaGrave @ $4.00
- Central Waters Peruvian Morning @ $5.00
- Maine Brewing King Titus @ $4.75
- Victory Oak Horizontal (bourbon) @ $17.25

I later was at another bottle shop and they had 2 of the above bottles priced at 3-5$ more than what I paid here. The prices are extremely reasonable.

I was there in the middle of the day during the week, so there wasn't anyone to talk to, so I can't comment on the service per say, but the cashier was very friendly.

I didn't have food while I was there, but look forward to it next time. They also have 20 craft beers on tap with a very nice selection (and do growler fills). Only 2 or 3 of the taps were swill. They are also opening up a taproom in the near future, which should help really put this place on the map.

Bottom line is that this is the best bottle shop in the greater York area.

This has become my go to place in the area. Italian restaurant on one side and a bottle shop on the other. A bar/tasting room area is currently in construction on the bottle shop side and will be a nice added addition. Service on the bottle shop side is great. Vince is the guy you want to talk to here and he will do everything he can to help you out. Selection is great for the York area and has a nice mixture of options both on the shelf and in the fridge. Best prices in the area. A few select bottles are probably on par for the area, but the majority are at least a buck or two cheaper, sometimes more. If you’re in the York area, this is a short 10-15 minute drive out of the way, but well worth it.

My local shop. Vince and company are quite good at what they do. They are new to the craft beer scene but are quickly becoming not only the best bottle shop in York but a legitimate rival to Lancaster and Harrisburg. The selection is top notch and the prices are incredibly low, especially the bottles. They undoubtadely have some of the best Italian food in the area as well. If you ever need a bottle held for you, or want something that they don't have, just ask Vince. He'll do anything in his power to assist you. Top notch beer and environment, don't hesitate to visit!

Craft beer on draft and an awesome bottle selection in Red Lion??? Yes please! Golden Crust has good pizza and strombolis and wings! Vince is great. I went to his Black Note event a few months ago. He ran it very well. I'm glad I'm only 10 minutes away!

Stopped in here last night to meet up with another local BA and do a bit of IP trading. My first time hearing about this place so I was pretty psyched to check it out.

I went to the pizza shop side first and was pleasantly surprised with the bottle selection. A good mix of styles from all over the world. They had some very nice bottles and a few things definitely interested me but the prices were a little on the high side so I decided to pass. Some of the other bottles had some great prices so I think it kind of evens itself out.

We decided to go over to the dining room and have a beer and I was again surprised by how large it was. I tried to order a Daisy Cutter but it kicked so I went with a local option that was just ok, but not their fault. Service was good, she was quite attentive and got my order in pretty fast. I got a stromboli to go and it was pretty damn good. I really liked how you could choose the size that fit your appetite, I went with the medium size. Overall a really nice pizza shop / bottle shop that I will definitely return to when I am in the area.

Was recommended to come here from the woman at Cape Horn Beverage. When I pulled up I was extremely confused. In Maryland we don't really sell beer off the property at pizza places. I walked in and was completely blown away. They had a great selection of craft beers, in the bottle, on tap and for sale in growlers. I picked up a few Bells and Founders brews since I can't get them back home...cleaned out their stock of Breakfast Stout :). The cashier was very nice and pretty knowledgable about her beers. I created my own sixer and felt that the price is very reasonable. I have yet to try the food, but if it is anything like the beer selection I'm sure it is good. Will be going back for beer and food.

If you like good pizza and great beer this is the place to go in Red Lion. Vince has done a great job bringing in craft beer at a very very good price.

Atmosphere- It's a pizza joint, not much to say here. It's somewhat small, but very clean with two t.v.s.

Service- Very friendly staff. The waistresses seem to lack knowledge with beers, however vince is quick to help.

Food- Great pizza and subs.

Selection- If you check out their website, you will see vince constantly rotating taps, and are rated occurding to beer advocate. They have 12 taps and probably around 9 of those are craft. Their prices are outstanding. I believe I paid 3.50 for a 16 oz of Troegs Perpetual. They also have a beer room with 3 coolers of beer. You can buy singles, 6 packs, and a few bombers. Again, great prices starting around 2 dollars a bottle.

I've come to love this place. I wish they could add a bar and a deck, but logistically impossible at their current location.
