On tap at 2 Bros. Pours a murky burnt orange color with an inch of head. Tons of lacing. The aroma is sweet caramel malts, bread, and some spicy and herbal hops. The taste is the herbal and spicy hop bitterness upfront. Floral notes as well. Toasted bread with some lightly toasted malts, peach and caramel. There is a lot going on here but it balances out fairly well. Spicy bitter hops at the finish with a good deal of pine. Mouthfeel is a bit on the heavy side with a lot of carbonation. Slightly boozey tasting. Overall, a solid Imperial IPA I look forward to buying some cans of.

Pours a slightly hazy, orange-copper colour with a thin off-white head.

Smells pretty resinous, with a good amount of citrus playing off the sweet but subtle malt scents. A little bit of peach and grassy hints as well, with a tiny bit of alcohol peeking through.

Starts with sweet malt an citrus flavours before exploding with sweet orange, bitter grapefruit and savory peach. Lots of resinous, grassy flavour on the middle, with peach and a bit of bitter resin lingering on the end.

Mouthfeel is medium and smooth, but with a very dry yet flavour-packed finish.

Overall somewhat bitter and straight-foward in character, but nicely balanced with various flavours coming in and out from start to finish.

Appearance: Pours a clear copper color with a two inch head that leaves a few strands lining the pint glass

Smell: Resinous and piney with a peach undertone

Taste: A touch biscuity, but so juicy that you can barely taste the malt; resinous and piney, like the aroma, with grapefruit and orange tones as well; there is quite a wallop of bitterness, after the swallow, but that peach element sneaks into the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation

Overall: Superfresh, as the cans were just released earlier this week; really am enjoying this beer and glad the timing of my trip to CT coincided with the release; the peach on the finish makes this beer a real treat for me

ACBF pour

A-Palate Mallet pours a darker orange color with a minimal, white head.

S-A heavy scent of hops. It's got the textbook citrus and pine combo but it also has some tropical fruit notes. Pungent hop aroma.

T-Bitter grass, orange, grapefruit and pine. A little bit of peach as well as some leafiness. Caramel and bread malt that isn't exceedingly sweet.

M-Bitter and dry. Alcohol is slightly noticeable. Lingering flavor. Medium to full bodied.moderate carbonation.

O-I enjoyed this beer a bunch. One of the more memorable beers from ACBF. Nothing that hasn't been done before but they still did it right.
