Look,,,Darker yellow bordering on brown. hazy but not too much.
Smell...Hoppy citrus tangerine and the hint of a little malt. Reminds me a little of the great Heady Topper
Taste...Bitter grapefruit citrus, The overlying bitterness on the back end. Nice. No complaints on the Hammer of the god series participant. The palate IPA wrecked. This is juicy but not for the faint of bitter!!!
Feel...thin juicy drinkable. Some lacing visible on the glass for quite a time. One of the reviews i read by another BA is that this beer is boozy and i do not get . It must be that bitter that masks any sweet alcohol for me.
Overall..this beer is well executed and not for everyone but i do like it a lot. Recommend for the hop heads

12 oz can into stemless wine glass. Dated 5/22/18.
Look is nice hazy orange. Smell is tropical fruit with pineapple/orange. Taste follows and has nice little bite at end. Feel is smooth and creamy. Overall a very nice DIPA, not total juice bomb but enough to make it very nice. Would buy again.

Clear amber appearance. This might have been an old can, but it tasted very malty and overly sweet. Was not pleasant or easy to drink.

Pouring a 12 oz can at cellar temp into my snifter. The beer pours a clear copper color with fluffy eggshell white head of 2 cm foaming up in my glass. Several streams of very fine carbonation rise to the surface as the beer rests in my glass. The beer has a floral and citrusy combo nose of hops with some pine sap also, but I also get some black peppery booze and hints of buried caramel. A good mix of complexity with a definite hop forward character.
First sip reveals an average body with sticky and syrupy texture. There is very fine gentle carbonation that slightly tickles across my palate on each sip. The brew leaves a sticky coating in my mouth after each swallow.
Flavor is briefly caramel and then rolls to citrus and tropical fruit with heavy pine notes. The beer finishes with some sweet malt and boozy notes that linger long after the swallow. Surprisingly I dont get any heat from the ABV and find the beer very easy to drink.
Quite a nice DIPA without the haze and no hop bite that may of the DIPAs are showing these days.
Worth a purchase if you like your hops to bite a little and your beers on the boozy side!

A: clear; bronze colored; 1 finger off white head that receded to a wispy cap; nice lacing;

S: interesting combination of pine and tropical fruit; tilted slightly toward tropical fruit;

T: pine up front; a little citrus added in at mid-palate; finish is moderately bitter - a balance between pine and grapefruit;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; dry finish;

O: an interesting take on the style;

Palate Mallet poured a pale, light golden yellow and left about a solid half inch foam around my glass. I got a strong pineapple aroma on the nose when I sniffed. I tasted some dank herb and piney hops. This beer had a very intense bitter flavour.

Poured from can (canned on 3/20/17) into tulip glass. Lots of chunky sediment in a hazy amber liquid. The nose is candied citrus with dank pine and a sharp alcohol snap, which folds into the yeast esters -- so overall tends toward dank and malty rather than bright and hoppy. Excellent, lovely white head, with nice lacing on the glass. Taste matches the nose: lots of candied citrus and dank pine, but the overall momentum is toward sweet malt, though it gives a bracing back-palate bitter on the finish. Very easy drinking, despite its booziness (and rather sweet finish), and I like the low carbonation: as with other Back East beers (Porter, BE Ale), I detect a brewer's fondness for English ales. Feel is silky smooth. The look deteriorates in the glass over 30 minutes, with further separation of sediment against a watery clay tone, but the flavor and nose hang in there. All in all a terrific local beer, even if it can't match the best of the NE DIPAs.

Good cloudy look but very little in the way head lacing etc... Smell was lemon citrus. Way too much hop bite on the taste. Not a bad beer has some good components and potential. The bite is too much for this palate!

Can into glass, purchased locally and fresh.

L- medium amber, minimal head, low carbonation, slightly cloudy
S- Pine, lemon peel, hop resin.
T- Bready, Piney, Big and smooth malt flavor moving to hop resin. Bold and boozy.
F - pretty resinous and heavy. Sticky with hop resin.
O: This boozy DIPA will definitely put hair on your chest. First, it needs more carbonation as others have said. I'd like to see more head on this beer, and more dry hopping to match the big malt note. The name rings true: a few sips of this will hammer your taste buds with bitter, sticky, hop resin. It's a solid NE DIPA but is outclassed by the top tier offerings.
