One of the best Hefe's I've ever had.

12 oz bottle courtesy of fthomasl pours a lightly hazed gold color with an uncharacteristically fast-fading white head that barely has time to leave a few smidges of lace.

Nose is pretty good - cloves, banana and bubblegum. Good, clasic hefe aroma.

Taste is a little thin, the sweet wheat body is not there. Has a nice yeast flavor but just not enough of it. Pretty watery. Drinkable with a few nice characteristics but overall a sub-par hefeweizen.

Color- mildly hazy light gold. Slight head.

Aroma- strong wheat and mild citrus.

Taste0 A hefe light! Starts more like a light wit beer than a German hefe, very mild citrus notes in the middle, finishing watery with a light lingering cleanness.

Sorry Pedernales, this just isn't up to par. I have nothing against your brewery. I used to fish on the Pedernales River between Fredericksburg and Johnson City when I was a kid. Please improve your beer, and I'll be a loyal follower.
