from a quality standpoint, these guys are the king of the wild stuff right now, everything is just so dialed in and refined and distinctive, this bottles is no exception. airy and tall pure white head seriously three inches tall, occupying more than half the space in my goblet. the beer is hazy honey colored, bright looking and delicate, pretty beer for sure. aroma of white grape, mature brett, funky wood and must, slight melon, brine, and white pepper, definitely a lot going on, and definitely most of the nuance from the yeast, dry and funky to say the least, vinous, different. apparently wheat based, this is fluffy with that slightly bready flavor, dried out a lot though, and softening the edges here, really a round mouthfeel to this and just enough of the malt flavor to give it a rustic earthy charm, but this is really about the brett. certainly appears to be dry hopped too, there is that citrusy aroma on the front end and a little bit of hop bite on the back end before it dries up. nice flavor here, amazing feel, effervescent bubbles and a ton of life on the palate, refreshing and way too easy to drink fast for how special it is. these guys have impressed me so much, surprised they arent more hyped up in general with some of these wild beers they do. one of my favorite beers from a weekend full of outstanding brews!

Pours a clear pale golden with a lovely pile of white foam in the Wander Brewing snifter. A pleasant aroma of yeast and grain. The mouthfeel is so sudsy, it's utterly delightful. I'm assuming from the name that it's dosed up with Brettanomyces rather than actual wild yeast.
The flavor is warm and wheaty. There's a salty edge. It tastes like a Saison with a little extra yeast, which does add that back of the throat scratch. In any case this is definitely one of the very best Wild Ales I've tasted. Who says they have to be sour! From the 375 ml bottle purchased at IGA Grocery in Seattle.
