Served on tap into a shaker glass.

A- Poured a very pale golden color, pretty clear with lots of visible carbonation, white soapy head left minimal lacing.

S- Big coriander and very light citrus.

T- Big coriander, some salty notes, and light citrus notes.

M- Pretty watery, low carbonation, light bodied.

O- A pretty pedestrian witbier. I love the style, but this one did not have much going on. Overall, it was pretty one dimension with very little citrus notes.

500ml bottle from Trader Joe in Salem OR
$3.99
Beer pours a very pale yellowish ( one of the palest beers i have seen) with a large frothy, attractive white head.
Very yeasty, spicy aroma.., wheat of course and a bit of sour lemon scent.
Nice taste..lemongrass, black pepper, sour apples and coriander.
Surprsingly creamy smooth mouth feel..but ends dry..very good.
Super drinkable wit.....easy to put down.

Very light straw color with little to no head but reasonably high carbonation. Funky yeast on the nose with a touch of hay and sweet wheat. Light and mellow wheat flavor starts off but a yeasty funky blue cheese comes in strong and stays through the finish. A slight tangy tingly tartness comes through in the middle while a sweet white bread flavor finishes long. A little light while a little tart on the finish. An earthy feeling finishes long on the tongue. Overall this is a tasty beer, but I felt like this lacked some originality. There is a little too much funk flavor in this beer and that throws the whole thing off balanced. Its fine, but I feel like a little forced.

I wasn't planning on stopping by, but while walking along the HR waterfront, I noticed Pfriem just there, and on my way back, I had to stop by.

Hazy pale yellow with a dense white head, good retention and nice lace. Nose has a nice refreshing spice character with a mild coriander note and some yeast. Faint sulfur characteristic is present (I noticed this in multiple beers, and I swear, my hands were clean), some phenols are also present. Palate is crisp, fruity, mildly sweet with mango and orange. Touch of sulfur gets in the way of an enjoyable palate. Crisp and refreshing, this has a nice finish with mild spice and fruit.

I had this on tap in a pint glass at the Taphouse Grill in Seattle.

Appearance: cloudy yellow hue with a nice layer of creamy head that sticks around a good amount of time. I like it.

Smell: wheaty with pretty strong spicing. The quantity of orange peel almost gives this beer a sour aroma. Interesting.

Taste: frankly the spicing is a little overdone for my taste and the balance is thrown off. A little less orange peel would do this beer wonders.

Mouthfeel: super duper creamy with a medium body and good carbonation. Splendiferous!

Overall: a decent beer in many ways, the quantity of bitter orange throws off the drinkability for me.
