Thanks to my friend Ljunkan for sharing! This has got to be one of the most interesting and inspring beers I've tried. I love sour ale/lambik/kriek and whatnot, but sometimes they may be a bit "single sided", but this is just brilliant!
The beer pours a deep brown/red color with a small and dissapearing white foam. Not too nice apperance actually, but hey, it's the taste that matters? Right?
Aroma holds lots of nice notes of sour berries, wine, oak and some nice hints of green apples. But also hints of other funky things, almost some aroma that feels like blue cheese. Amazing smell anyway!
The taste doesn't dissapoint either! Lots of thos earlier mentioned sour berries, but also unmature gooseberries and other nice things, also it is a bit oaky. The beer is extremely dry, but still well balanced. Amazing!
An extremely well-crafted and inspiring brew! More stuff like this, please!
