From the 2008 vintage bottle marked 00276. Sampled on July 20, 2013.
The pour has the apperance of a drak red wine more than a beer with a reddish hue, basically no head, and a lightweight texture.
The aroma has plenty of tart, red grape qualities to it with a faint whiff of malts. But it is the sourness that leads the way.
The body is around medium.
Like the nose, the taste has a kind of overripe grape flavor with a sour and sharp bite at the finish. Sour ales are not top on my priority list but for fans of the style it is probably quite delightful.
