On tap at the Thirsty Monk.
Pours a clear deep, dark ruby with just a thin wispy head.
Cherries are very prominent in the aroma along with some funkiness and a little bit of wood.
More cherry and dark fruit in the flavor along with a healthy dose of alcohol and some funk. Hints of molassas and brown sugar along with a moderate tartness leading to a slightly sticky finish.
Overall, an interesting but pretty heavy beer. Not one I would enjoy very often but I'm glad I got to try it.
Serving type: on-tap
