It pours a hazy orange yellow with a 1 finger head of foam and does well with the lacing.

It smells spicy and earthy which likely comes from the sage used. Plenty of coriander in there as well.

Big coriander and bigger sage with a dash of pepper. No sweetness here, mild hint of tartness, good level of unusual bitterness.

Medium body and carbonation.

Enjoyable for the most part.

Upon popping the swing top cap this thing foams like Mt. Vesuvius for 20 minutes exuding sage, spice and herb aromas with some fruit and a suggestion of tomato to strawberry.
I lose about a third of it but after it settles down I fill the glass with a cloudy apricot colored brew with a rocky white foam cap.
The sage makes a big impression on the tongue joined by stone fruits, lemony tartness, and a hint of white bread. The flavors are rich and complex but a good chunk of the carbonation departed with the foam eruption.
Might have been a good beer had it not been infected.

Bright golden-yellow color, hazy appearance. Small cream-colored head that dies down fast, leaving a thin coating of foam remaining on the surface of the beer and lots of sticky lacing on the sides of the glass.

Wonderful smell - sweet citrus, mild malt with a mild spicy scent of sage. Very interesting. Made me want to drink the beer.

Taste starts off mildly acidic and citrusy, then progresses to a mild sage flavor and ends with a mild hoppy flavor and a dry finish. Decent flavor, and while a little unique there was nothing really special about it.

Light in body, but not thin. Lots of mild carbonation. Dry finish.

Overall I found this a well-crafted beer and I am glad that I tried it. That being said, I found it to be nothing really special - just a decent golden ale. While I would gladly drink another if it was served to me, there are so many better beers out there so I do not see me purchasing this beer again.
