From a bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Smells of citrus and spice. Medium feel. Complex flavor with wheat, lots of fruitiness, and a kind of dry/sour finish. Very nice!

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%. Hazy pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma of coriander and orange peel. The flavour is citrussy, dry and refreshing, with distinct notes of coriander and cloves.

Draft into tulip at Avenue Pub in New Orleans. Nose of ripe citrus and some funk. Sour apples with crackers. Sharp carbonation. Really liked this beer.

very surprised to see this rated as low as it is, its exceptional beer, on tap at bull and bush, leftover from their beer dinner with these guys. i wonder if its just that much better from the keg than the bottle (which i suspect is what most people have reviewed here) or if the fact that its a wild wit brings some negative scores from those expecting a more traditional take on the style. never mind the ratings though, the beer is exceptional, one of my favorites from bfm to date, for sure. looks the part, nice pale wheaty looking brew, thick and creamy head on it, lots of haze, yeasty for certain, but no particulate or anything. great foam on it, awesome lace on the edges of the glass, and a tangy tart nose that tells me right away this is going to be a unique experience. i get lemongrass, belgian wit notes of coriander and citrus, but also this amazing yeast profile that has a nice tang to it, a little sourness, but more funk than pucker. not the generic pitch either, its something unique to these guys, probably a polyculture of brett and bacteria, maybe all brett just real mature. fruity in the middle of it all, peaches and white grapes and limes and under ripe strawberries. just amazing depth from the yeast, so much more than a normal wit. the wheat base is great too, rich and smooth and big, bone dry, supercharged carbonation, and just a ton of life to it. dynamic is an understatement. mouthwatering at the end, a tiny bit if sourness, but a lot of layers there. really exceptional take on the style, something i will look forward to drinking again. top quality brew with very few peers.

On tap at the Blue Monk in Buffalo. Arrived in what appeared to be a tulip-snifter hybrid.
Appearance: Hazy orange-gold, capped with a thin head of white foam that lingered a bit. Spotty lacing.
Smell: Funky, musty grass, laden with tart light fruits - pears, oranges, and melon.
Taste: That musty, mildewy funk comes through loud and clear on each sip, leading a procession of vaguely tart light fruits. Orange and tangerine are both present, mildly tart and somewhat moldy, followed by pear and melon flavors, both cantaloupe and honeydew. A grassy, hay-like tone hangs in the background throughout, and here and there, some bits of fermented white grape manifest.
Mouthfeel: Medium of body and moderate of carbonation.
Overall: The bar, and Untappd, both listed this as a biere de garde, and for one of those, it was acceptable. For a witbier, this is an interesting take on the style, with much more funk and much less spice than I'd expect. Either way, I'd consider drinking it again.

The beer is familiar with a really well done and spiced witbier. It hits of spice, coriander, light crackery malts with a light dry finish crisp. Tons of floral and coriander on this one.

Yellow, very bubbly, hazy, light foam, looks like champagne. Tangy, lightly fruity scent with hints of malt. Very light mouth, crisp finish. Extremely carbonated which unfortunately wipes out a lot of the flavor. Tastes like a much maltier Belgian-style ale with seltzer water mixed in! Very crisp and drinkable but ultimately not a lot of flavor.
