Notched date is Jan 2014.
Huge POP from the swingtop cap as bubbles spew forth from this gusher. Dark brown body, TONS of off-white head.
Smells like an Oude Bruin, wtf? Intense, soured brown ale yeast. Weird, not good.
Taste is along the same lines: mild sourness, minimally roasted, spices galore. So strange, not particularly good. I'd never guess this was a stout base, and I wouldn't buy this myself.

Poured at the wonderful Duckworth's - Park Rd - Charlotte, NC... all drafts $3.50 today!
It pours very dark brown with little to no head or lacing. The nose is toasty - pleasant to look at and smell, but the taste is a letdown - especially after the amazing brews I recently tried by them in VA @ Mekong. It's thinner than an imperial stout should be - very much a flat cola thing going on. It won't sour me on this brewery.
