On tap at Birch. I enjoyed most of BFM's offerings quite a bit, including this one. If you don't care for Saison's or sours, this may not be for you. But if you like these styles, this gives a pretty cool twist. Lightfarmhouse ale with a cool blend of sour. The brewery is awesome. I recommend sour lovers trying everything they can get their hands on. Jerome at BFM is a funny and cool guy too.

Thanks to Phyl21ca for sending this out west in a great trade.
A: Pours with four fingers of white microfilm head top a mirky apricot brew.
S: Tart green apples and pears with lemon juice and fresh green grass and meadow floral notes topped with a sweet amber honey.
T: Fruity and sweet with stone fruits of apricots and peaches. Tartness of lemon rinds and chalky minerals with a slight sour brett. There are some yeasts, but those seem to be over shadowed but the sour and tart.
M: Soft carbonation with a light body, supports the smell and taste perfectly.
O: Refreshing and tangy with just enough sweetness and chalky minerals to add depth to the flavour & smell. Enjoyable and drinkable, light enough to enjoy a couple of glasses in a sitting.
