From tasting notes, on tap at DeCicco's 12/12/12
It's fine yeast cloudy dark straw/gold. A bit of beige skim briefly, then a bare cap.
Aroma is a tart and fruity funk and earth, beautiful, some vinous notes, some tasty bitter in there, balanced with a clean, grainy, sweet fragrance.
All the tastes of the nose, but now presenting a balance that lets the tart be the tie that binds. As it warms and opens up some rooty sorta spicy bitter comes into it in a good way. The earthiness is the distinct note of it that really gains my enjoyment.
Very low carb. and light in mouth it is just the mouth to give this killer of a finish.
Is it a Tired Hands or Hill Farmstead Saison? No., but I highly recommend this beer should you encounter it. Delicious, complex, interesting, and refreshing. What more could you ask?
Serving type: on-tap
