Got this one at Mikes Drive Thru in Warren, OH. Fresh 500mL bottle.
Pale, slightly hazy, medium-low carbonation. Hops smell like the tannic green apple, the marmalade describes the tannic finish. Tastes like doughy bread, bit of sour, no surprise. Lasting finish, does better warm.
This ale is more than just it's ingredients. Cask conditioned Suffolk ale is totally it's own thing. Ceiling high wooden maturation tuns, soil filters, video cameras sometimes, look it up.

500 ml bottle, bought at Vaaland Spesialbutikken, Bryne. ABV is 4.5%. Deep golden to brown colour, moderate carbonation, low head. Nice aroma of fruity hops. Well balanced flavour with distinct fruity hops on a sufficient malty base, and a grapefruity bitterness in the finish. Good beer!

Comes in the good-looking flask bottle.
Brassy, off gold in the dimpled mug, one finger of foamy white head that disappeared quickly. Nose of fresh bread, slightly sour.
Pretty solid on the palate, light-medium body, not very complex but refreshing, hoppy bitterness lingers a bit. A lighter expression of a Brit pale ale, used to be a favorite buy from the late lamented European Gourmet in Brandon, Florida...to go along with an order of thin sliced Parma ham and good gorgonzola on crusty Italian bread, drizzled with olive oil, black pepper, and a little sea salt. Good accompaniment to a simple meal.
So many fine new beers out there in the past 10 years that this one now falls into the cracks...above average for a lighter British ale, and goes well with food. This last bottle was a bit "aged", behind a few newer bottles in the fridge, but still clean and crisp. Worth a try if you are looking for something clean on the palate that won't overwhelm a simple meal.

Poured a light golden color with a moderate white head and decent lacing.
Grainy malty sweetness, bitter hops, grassy, bit of toffee/honey and a mild lingering bitter aftertaste. It's okay.

Appearance is golden with a thin white foamy head. Aroma is first and foremost earthy and herbal hops followed by a little apple, peach, and lemon. Taste is bitter and earthy with a strong bready malt backbone. Not quite as aromatic or tasty as I was hoping. Not a bargain either so I'll probably stick to another British ale.

(olive-brown, 500 ml bottle, code 17180 ... poured at cellar temp into a proper British nonic pint)
L: pale amber liquid with a very slight haze... not much head forms on pour, nor does it lace to any notable degree
S: apricot, bold light caramel, hint of tinned peaches... near dessert-like tone as in a cookie-ish, jam-filled tart... mild hop presence: earthy, possibly old hops... great potency, overall - very British aromas, possibly some wear/age on it
T: thick bread crust, leather, dried grass against a sooty stone foundation... bit of a dried apple note in the finish; later, a honeyish grain note clings to the back teeth and builds... the middle and aftertaste is rather dry, while a grassy, mild tannic bitterness lingers mid-palate
F: soft, sedate, with a delicate, jelly-like bounce to its body... does feel like some residual hop resins smear back with each sip... would prefer perhaps a little more livelier carbonation, say via a live example
O: wasn't expecting the paler color and flavors, but it's a pleasant, rustic, quintessentially British sort of ale that would probably be spectacular dry-hopped with classic English hops, served off the pump... I'd definitely get this again - right up my alley

Golden hazy colored brew. Slim white head. The aroma is grainy and grassy. Dryer than expected, with a light earthy hop flavor. Mild and unobtrusive. Firm finish. Malt comes out over time. Firm body. Solid but not very interesting.

A: Pours a golden yellow color with a fingers worth of head that fades down to a small cap
S: Very grassy and floral with lots of grainy notes and barley. Apple notes in the back
T: Follows the nose. Quite mild. Starts off with the grassy hops and goes into the apple notes along with underlying grain and barley. Finishes with lingering barley
M: Light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation
O: An easy drinking English ale that would be good for a session. Very beer-y and pub-like
