Presentation: Brown 1 pint .9 fl. oz. Old fashioned medicine style bottle, blurb about being organic … no freshness date.

Appearance: Rich hazy golden brew with an appealing white lace that froths up real nice. Haze turns out to be just a mild chill haze, when the ale warms up to cellar temp it drops quite bright.

Smell: Hints of earth and mineral, ghost like sulfur notes are noticeable. Hops are light though with a raw earthened like twang. Whole rounded grain in the nose both sweet and dry grain.

Taste: Moderate body and a smooth, rounded and crisp carbonation which forms a quick flowing mouth feel. Porridge like grain sweetness with a homemade cracker like maltiness. Slight sulfur and mineral flavour from the water, earthy hop with a mild pungent lemony bitterness. Hint of smokiness from the copper kettle brewing. Bread crust like finishes with a semi clean lingering hop bitterness to boot.

Notes: Mmm … organic real ale, this is the good stuff for sure and a session beer at that.

A: Has the look of a cider with a decent lace.

S: Biscuity with light floral and fruit scents.

T: Multi flavored up front with a good balance of hops towards middle and end.

M: Medium bodied with low carbonation and a semi dry finish.

O: Nothing really stands out, but it's a very balanced English Pale Ale.
