The S'more Stout is an absolute all-star: Aromas of chocolate, coffee, fig, and smoke invite you in to a gigantic maltiness that is distinct in its smooth and refined character, with flavors of chocolate and hints of smoke mingled with rich caramel, fruit, and warming alcohol. Top it with a roasted marshmallow and you have the ultimate S'more experience!

Really didn't care for this one. Thin mouthfeel, bitter and smoky in an unenjoyable way. Someone said "burnt microwave popcorn" smell but I think that applies to the taste as well. Wouldn't try it again or recommend it.

Dark brown color with tan head. Aroma has cocoa shake, milk chocolate and some coffee liquor. Taste is sweet and grainy at first but gets more bitter and roasty towards the finish with dark bread crust flavor. Medium minus body with medium carbonation. A legit, grainy and roasty stout.

Dark chocolate brown with a nice tall head of 2 fingers, beige, and leaves generous lace behind.
Aromas of burnt microwave popcorn, dark chocolate, and earth.
Flavor is very earthy. I was expecting marshmallow but I got the camp fire instead. Woody, with char and herbal hop, like a walk in the woods after a violent thunderstorm. There's still an element of cleanliness to the palate even though the flavor is largely dirty. Zero sweetness.
The high carbonation level helps with the charred flavors, making it slightly more drinkable. The cleanliness is interesting as noted earlier, and ends burnt/roasted.
Overall, Portland beer sucks, as does Portland, but this one wasn't absolutely terrible. Probably wouldn't have again though.

Quick: Appearance is a brown black in color with a small root beer head. Retention is quite nice and the lacing was quite impressive. Smell is pretty tame, some roast malts and not much else going on. Flavor was nice, those roasts leading the way, and there was a sweetness to this one too. Feel was thin and watery, even on nitro. Not a bad stout, just not a great one, and there are many out there that are better for the price.

Pitch black pour, solid head, sticky lacing. Aroma of dark roasted nuts and coffee. Taste is a multi-layer experience - taste starts off with dark fruit, chocolate, maybe a hint of smoke. Then a bitterness comes out, which then fades to a longer finish of roasted malt and hops. A good stout, well suited for those long dark damp winter evenings.
