Many thanks, big ups and major props to msubulldog25 for having sent this to me in furtherance of The CANQuest (TM)!

As to the medium, it is like Superman: Up on the counter, is it a Bottle? Is it Glass? No, it's a CAN if it is made of metal, no matter what shape or form it may take! Hopefully, that clears up any lingering CANfusion and dispels arguments.

From the CAN: "Soak in a mountain river. Chill in the snow. Cool off in a lake. Refrigerate if you have to."; "India-Style Pale Lager To triumph over mountain, wave, wind, or boulder, you need a good Base Camp. Your Base Camp helps rally your adventurous spirit to conquer the next challenge. Make the most of your rest and rejuvenation with our IPL. This copper-colored lager was crafted for the sole purpose of your enjoyment. It will climb to the top of your senses, inspiring daydreams of the backcountry. Hoppy aromas of pine and wildflowers team up with prodigious malt character to create one radically delicious brew. Dry-hopped and aged on Oregon-grown oak that is freshly milled and toasted in-house for a uniquely complex and full-of-flavor lager."; "This bottle is made for adventure. [-] No metal taste. Food-grade liner prevents contact [-] More environmentally friendly than glass [-] Lighter and more versatile than glass [-] Protects from light better than glass [-] Won't shatter in your pack or bag [-] Chills beer quicker than glass".; "Check out or website at basecampbrewingco.com for more info about why this bottle kicks glass!"; "Bottle conditioned".

No Crack! due to it being closed with a Crown cap and no Glug, either, because I promised my ex-Old Lady that if it explicitly says anything about Bottle/CAN conditioned, then I will be gentle. A soft, gentle pour still netted me a finger of rocky, tawny head with good retention. Nose smelled of pine and honey, and since they characterize it as "wildflowers", that is where the bees are going to get their pollen, so I would say that we are in agreement. Color was a slightly-hazy deep-copper (SRM = > 22, < 27). Mouthfeel was very effervescent, mega-carbonated, but with big, soft bubbles, not tiny, scrubbing ones. The taste was likewise soft, pine, but with the edges rounded and smoothed by that flowery, honey-like flavor often found in good lagers. Lots of lacing was beginning to form in my glass as I drank. Finish was semi-dry with the different hops having found and struck a nice balance. CANsidering it in total, it had more of a honey/lager flavor than pine hops, so I guess that you have to decide what you really want before buying a 22-fl. oz. CAN. It is beers like this that keep The CAQuest (TM) interesting.

A: golden amber with decent head, retention, some lacing
S: not a whole lot going on, little woody, which is a little different for a lager
T/M: start tart with some malt character in the form of raisin-bread sweetness. The hops blends into a mango-type taste, before the wood aging makes its presence known. This last part made for and interesting dryness in the end.
O: tends toward being a little on the malt-sweet side of a lager. In this sense it is similar (but not comparable to) what I thought about Great Lakes Dortmunder. Thy dryness and wood characters were different, and a difference I enjoyed.

Poured a dark copper hue with a three finger frothy off white head. There was very good retention and sticky lacing.

The smell featured n earthy caramel and herbal hop.

The taste offered herbal and grassy hops with a full chewy caramel malt. Touches of burnt sugar detected as well. Residual herbal hop.

The mouthfeel was toward the fuller side of the style.

Overall a tasty full bodied malt forward lager.
