Commercial description: "A KK ale known originally as a proper Burton ale. For those of you hop heads out there, this one is for you!! Toasted malt and biscuits with a ton of dark cherries and plums. Endive and hay. Spicy, Orangina hops. Big, rich and thoroughly tannic with a penetrating middle palate hop bitterness that continues into the dry finish."

A: Light bronze with a goopy white head. Good retention.
S: Fresh pine and earthy hops with underlying nutty pale malt.
T: Malt is toasty and bready with a touch of caramel in there, followed by a perfect level of sharp herbal hoppyness. Fruitiness/hop combination brings oranges to mind. Smooth transition from sweet to bitter ending with a clean dry finish. Slight alcohol presence complements flavors well.
M: Medium bodied with moderate to light carbonation. Crisp and dry. About perfect here.

Bursting with flavor, but a nice interplay between hops and malt. This is my second experience with this beer and the best description I can give it is: really, really good. Top notch if you're a fan of the style.
