Pours black. Nice looking but nothing jumps out as exceptional. Very nice though.

Aroma is vanilla and lactose sweetness. They really dominate the nose.

Big sweetness on this stout. Also big on the vanilla and lactose. Light milk chocolate on the end.

Medium mouthfeel. Medium carb.

A: Good looking beer. Dark cream black with a tan head as expected.

S: Sweet chocolate and malt. Syrupy and alcohol smell.

T: Sweet chocolate, soy milk, vanilla, brittle, syrup, molasses, brown sugar, raisins, fruits, and a hint of toast.

M: Pretty full. Not necessarily thick, but very creamy. Mouth is awesome on this.

O: I'm not one for the milk stouts, but this is very pleasant. I love the relaxing flavor and the creamy mouth feel. This beer definitely deserves its rating. Cheers!

12oz bottle into a CS snifter.

A- Dark non-transparent.Thin layer of lacing with legs. Definitely dark for this non ba stout.

S- Chocolate, light coffee, toffee, caramel, charred dark fruits.

T- Follows the nose. I get some heat out of it too.

M- Very thick for a stout. Love the M. Very creamy. Get some carb following down the throat.

O- I was surprised by this one. Very well done.

Virtually black, one finger of mocha tan head. Lacing works well on my pint.
Smells of some dark fruit, chocolate, anise with ethers.
Sticky sweet, chewy flavors of coffee and milk chocolate, sharp vanilla notes. Bitter/ roasted and a bit drier towards the end, but greatly balanced overall. A hint of fruit is in here for me too, along the lines of cherry or raspberry, and it adds a nice touch to an already delicious stout.
Mouthfeel is oily smooth with creamy carbonation. Great with dark chocolate (coffee beans with this tasting). This is the type of imperial (milk) stout i like. Im only surprised i didnt seek it out earlier, especially given i reside in the town in which the brewery is based.
