My second beer in the local flight. Tap pour at the Common Table, TX
(A)- Pours a deep mahogany color with reddish highlights. Some tan froth and lacing.
(S)- Lots of raisin and cocoa with lots and lots of dry biscuit-like yeast. Finishes in a slight spice. As it warms, this really starts to turn sweet.
(T)- An absolute ton of caramel and a butterscotch-type flavor. . . like a ton. Definitely diacetyl.
(M)- A very mellow carbonation level. Way way too sweet and sugary for the style. That and clearly something is up with this.
(O)- Overall, I wanted to like it, but this is off or a dirty tap line.
Serving type: on-tap
