A German brewery literally moved overseas, the copper tanks can be seen from the beer hall. This place has several things going for it: German beer done right, location, and scenery. Located just 4 blocks from Ale House at Amato's and across I-25 from Denver Beer Co., Prost is a must stop for beer lovers.
While the number of taps is limited to 7, the beers that come out are distinct and unique to Denver. Bill Eye hopped on over from Dry Dock to brew these German style beers and hasn't missed much of a step. I thought the Weisbeer was a bit off, but the dunkel was off the charts good.
Nice seating arrangement with the long tables, and some tables out side with a view of downtown. Service is friendly. Food is via food trucks, or bring your own. A good brewery with good beer

At first I couldn't understand why the scores of some of the other reviewers are so low when the beer is, after all, perfect. The setting is fine, some people like light and bright, some people like dark and gloomy. This is the former. The problem is is that the beer is so perfect that people naturally want perfect food to go with it and it makes them cranky when they don't get any food. Believe me, if they had food to match the beer at this place, it would be unbeatable and everyone would be happy.
The menu is short and sweet, beerwise. Just half a dozen or so of excellent German styles that are clean, crisp and taste wonderful. You really can't ask for much more from a beer. Oh yeah, all that flavor and low ABV's. That's nice, too.
C'mon, how hard is it to boil some brats in beer? You make German beer, give us German food. You can expand into full restaurant mode at your leisure, but give us some potatoes and wurst NOW!
P.S. The low score for selection is low because, well, they don't offer that many beers. It's a fact, not a criticism. They offer enough for their purposes.

Prost is in a small warehouse located across the highway from Denver's LoDo district. They're out of the way of the LoDo bustle, while still being easy to find.
Inside, Prost has a German beer hall theme going. The space is relatively small and industrial, but they've done a nice job with it. A stone-topped Z-shaped bar with about a dozen seats serves as the room's centerpiece. The rest of the inside seating is made up of long tables. A small patio provides outdoor seating on nice days.
The beer list is rather short. They have four year-round beers, plus rotating seasonals of classic German styles. On my visit, they were unfortunately out of Kolsch, which left me with only their four regulars to choose from. I really appreciated the traditional glassware for each beer.
Prost's staff is very nice, plus they offer frequent brewery tours. On both my visits, the crowd was mellow. Overall, I have to say that I will be back, as their Weiss is one of the best ones I've had.
