I liked the vibe of this place, vibe of eclectic but fun and there were a fair amount of folks enjoying the place but it was not too loud to carry on a conversation. I cannot recall exactly what was playing but I remember enjoying the musical selections. Even though it was on Bardstown road, it seemed like more of a local place.
Beers were well poured, served in proper glassware, served at a reasonable temperature, and with a decent amount of head. When I visited they were serving almost 100% stouts as that was the theme. I liked the fact that they offered smaller than pint pours (6 oz/half pint) so that I was able to enjoy a couple of different beers.
Service was friendly and knowledgeable, offering some suggestions on which beers were likely to kick more quickly and which ones were unlikely to be seen elsewhere in Louisville.
Not the hugest selection of draft beers but a well selected list with quite a few local options. They had some of the more well known Louisville breweries as well as many of the smaller/less well know ones as well.

Nice comfortable place on Bardstown in an eclectic area. Right beside the Cumberland brewery is a plus. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly. The beer selction was outstanding. Not miles of taps but the ones they had were great choices. This place is a good choice if you are in the area

I've now been to this bar several times. The beer selection has been very good each time, though I'm always surprised when the selection is tilted to a particular style. On my most recent visit, most of the IPAs were imperials. They did have a couple of regular IPAs, but the selection was definitely tilted to high alcohol content. A colleague had a flight of 4 different high alcohol IPAs and liked most of them. The selection included a number of local brews, including varieties from BBC, Apocalypse, and Country Boy.
I didn't try the food on any visit, but others in my group said it was good each time. The wings and pretzel certainly looked tasty.
I've been at this bar when it was practically empty, which made for easy quiet conversation with friends at a table. Most recently, it was packed for trivia night and was predictably loud. That made for more difficult conversation, of course, though we had a nice talk with the owner at the bar. The owner explained his beer choices, which are largely based on the ability to provide customers with unique selection.
They have a happy hour that ends at 7 pm.
