Rich honey amber body with a massive foamy off white head. Ye gods that is gorgeous. Wonderful lacing and retention.

Nose starts out with rye spice and pine with a sweet caramel and grain underpinning. I don't get as much of the citrus they mention on the label, but more of a deep woods clean fresh green. PNW!

Jumping in with a bitter pine that is quickly backed up by toasty rye biscuits. Round and warm through the finish. Deep resin and rye on the finish with a bit of pith. Medium sticky body and a lasting bitter finish with some toasty malts escorting the rye and pith into the night. Fine pinpricks of carbonation. Into it.

Look - Dark amber body with an off white, pillowy, soft, sticky head. The body and head appear rich and sultry.
Smell - Sweet hoppy, pine aroma.
Taste - Nice balance of hop and pine. Light malt. The rye takes a backseat. This may be because I had a FW 17th Anniversary before this.
Feel - Nice.
Overall - Splendid. The is a quality up and coming brewery. I would like to have this on a clean palate first thing in the morning.

Appearance: Arrives with the hazy copper liquid capped by an inch of foam; a few strands of lacing linger

Smell: Caramel and rye underpin the pine

Taste: Caramel is dominant, up front, with the piney hops and spicy rye tones developing through the middle; sticky through the finish with the malts challenging the hops through the finish

Mouthfeel: Full bodied with moderate carbonation

Overall: Overly sticky, for my palate, though the hoppy bitterness combines nicely with the spicy rye flavors
