Purchased @2016; cellared then opened Feb 2021.
Beautiful soft pale yellow with pillowy full head. Decent retention and lacing that lingered nicely.
6 + years seems to have subdued the fresh apricot fruitiness; but overall the nose and flavor were complex and gentle with grass; mild funk, oak, touches of citrus and biscuit. Nicely smooth with a gentle crispness.
Overall an excellent farmhouse style ale. Delicious with crab cakes, frites and bread.

A: Pours a hazy pale color with minimal head
S: Amazing. Tart, stone fruit, tropical fruit, vanilla, oak, grass, reisling
T: Similar to the smell and the sour is full. Oak comes through really well.
M: Medium body, medium carbonation
O: Very good

- 4oz. pour off tap at the tasting room (Paso Robles, CA) into flight glass on 5-Sep-15
The beer doesn't look appealing, but it's got a great nose and an even better taste full of juicy apricot. The tartness is on the lower level with a medium-high amount of acetone presence, which I think complimented the fruity sour. This along with the Riesling sour made a great tasting combo.
