After a long day of road tripping, cow tipping, and being attacked by a swarm of bees, you've probably worked up quite a thirst. Or maybe none of those things happened... Either way, kick back and enjoy the heck out of this crisp pale lager. Holy Schnikes! It’s so refreshing and easy to drink with just the right amount of malty goodness, bready notes, and a dry finish. Spicy and subtly citrus, the hop character won't hit you in the face like a two-by-four. It really hits the spot right here. Not here or here so much. But right here. Quit playing with your dinghy and try it!

Hops - Hallertauer
Malts - German Pilsner, Munich

16oz draught at the Farmers Branch location.
1/4" white head decent retention and nice lacing.
Copper body with very good clarity.
Crisp, clean, with a nice punch of hop bitterness. Very good drinkability.
Very Good.

Way over hopped with noble hops, like they were making an IPA. Sour grass with very little malt character. Cloudy. Weak head and carbonation, except for the one beer in the six pack that over flowed when opened and tasted awful. The worst commercial lager I've had. Maybe I got a bad batch. Ugh!

12 oz. can poured into pilsener
(4/25/17 born-on date)

L: clear pale gold, SRM 5 printed on can; pushes up big head of white foam, over 2 inches off strong pour, head sticks a bit at the top, while the beer keeps a thickish collar of white foam and almost a full skin

S: toasted peach, green grassy hops, loads of sweetness, apricot kolache, biscuit malt

T: super green grassy hop bite and bready malt; the hops are bitter enough to also have a slight floral flavor; cilantro; biscuit malt

F: solid around, relatively light weight with just a pinch of extra heft; a big pour softens it some, though there is still plenty of carbonation to spare

O: very good beer and one I'll reach for again; I'm curious how well it holds up in the can with some age, and I'll definitely buy it again when I can find it super fresh

A: Bright clear gold with a modest, though fading head.
S: Clean malt aroma, little bit of grassy hops.
T: Nice mix of clean light malt, not really grainy at all, and hoppy bitterness, more of the latter than I expected from the nose. Balanced well, for an easy-drinking lager.
M: Light bodied, soft texture.
O: Nothing exciting here, but it was exactly the kind of beer I was looking for, a kind of slightly hoppy helles lager, easy to drink.
