On tap at the Holy Grail Pub in Plano.

The beer pours a slightly dirty, hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma has a some strong banana notes, as well as some cream and wheat notes. The flavor is very similar. I get some sweet malt and a lot of banana and wheat, a handful of flavors that don’t really go well together. Overall, the beer tastes like a mess. Medium mouthfeel and low carbonation. Not good, hopefully the brewery will improve as they get more experience.

Thanks to the incredible woodychandler for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a light golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is sweet, malty. Taste is of malts, clean, refreshing, a touch of rye. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall, as advertised, is a fine lawnmower beer.

16 oz tallboy pours a fairly clear gold color with a dense cap of brilliant white head. Nice retention and moderate lacing...this is a good looker.

Nose is definitely traditional Cream Ale - light, soft malts and a touch of sweet fruitiness - maybe in line with pears and honeydew. Hopping is light.

Taste shows honeyed grains leading the charge with some fruity yeast undertones. Hops are light on flavor and aroma but definitely have a touch of bittering to clean things up on the back end. Mouthfeel is well done, it has a sweet side but is certainly not cloying and finishes dry enough. Carbonation level is good. I think this is a pretty dang good rendition of the style - problem is there is not much competition for it. Ive yet to have a Spotted Cow, Id put it above Genessee and Little Kings by a mile, buy a notch below AV Summer Solstice.

This one pours a very cloudy golden color with a nice pillowy white head that settles at a fast to medium rate with no lacing down the glass.

The nose is sweet and fruity with with a sharp hop note that has hints of lemon, oranges, grass bread and the faintest hint of black pepper.

The taste is a nice creamy effervescent experience that is a light mixing of dry malt with spicy hops and creamy notes of citrus, grass and a nice clean dry finish that does not cling to the palate.

The mouthfeel is a definite cream ale. it is creamy and silky and is a definitive cream ale.

Overall this is an exceptional cream ale and meets all the criteria for such a style extremely well. This one is definitely Americanized Cream Ale and has a bit more hops, .less sweetness and is just damn good.

Definitely drink this beer
