De Hopt. En copa Teku. Ordenando biblioteca de Steam. Wit correcta, quizás levemente más especiada de la cuenta pero tampoco estropea la experiencia

Rather cloudy amber brew with plenty of foam in the tumbler. Fizzy, light bodied, and creamy carbonation is very inviting when you're thirsty. The nose is wheaty with some light bread. Flavors of straw and cereal. A little grainy with the hint of coriander. The spices are not at all strong and give just a little bitterness.

I can't find much fault with this. It has plenty of flavor without being obtrusive, and the bit of spice gives some balance to the warm malt. Highly quaffable at the end of the hottest days I've experienced in a long time. From the 500 ml can purchased in Annecy, France.

Decanted from an 11.2 oz (330 ml) brown bottle into a conical pint glass; no production information.
A: Pours a murky, golden/brown color with obvious chunks of yeast floating in a suspension throughout. Minimal head with virtually no retention or lacing.
S: Aromas of molasses, honey, and coriander with a tutti-fruity note.
T: Semisweet. Tastes of light molasses, grass and herbs, coriander, and apple.
M: Medium bodied with very little carbonation.
O: Could be a flavorful enough Witbier, but not nearly effervescent enough. Could be livelier.

This is more of a herbed ale than a witbier. Even though it's wheat forward, the herbs and fruits from the maquis are strong and remind me more of cervoise (something like a gruit) than a beer (i'm not sure there even hop in this one)

Whitey golden color with a thin head with short retention.
Mild acid aroma with notes of oranges, pineapple juice and lots of coriander.
Flavor with notes of fresh oranges, mild herbal hops or juniper, wheaty dough, coriander, chalked yeast and pears.
Medium body with mild carbonation.
Fruity Witbier with lots of coriander and other herbs over dough yeasty notes.

Aggressive pour yields a little under a finger’s worth of pure white foam, even surface, slight retention, the lacing is likewise meager. The liquid is clear and a bright, almost metallic yellow gold color, the carbonation is active, tends to run in sheets, tiny bubbles closely spaced, looks youthful. The nose is a little on the musty side, caraway, lemon drops, ginger root, drying out to unused bread dough, the fruit is mainly crisp apple and pear, white grape, lingers longer than one might expect and becomes fresher as it does so. Medium-bodied, not as carbonated as visually suggested yet has a semi-creamy mouth feel. Basically, the first impression it makes it ginger ale, tastes like a glass of ginger ale. Neutral breadiness to water cracker notes, the lemon expands into orange citrus, albeit this not altogether sweet nor sour. Light aspect of herbal matter to fallen tree wood but can’t say it is really funky, maybe some quinine. Comes off as intentionally trying to hold the middle ground and not show too much personality in any one direction. In the final analysis can’t shake that sense of ginger ale, making the experience off-kilter.
