Jacaranda is the flagship beer of Claremont Craft Ales. This wonderfully balanced beer appeals to drinkers of all stripes thanks to the complex malt character of the rye. The copious amounts of Centennial hops balance perfectly with the spiciness and pepperiness of the rye malt.

This beer really floored me. It came out the can with a nice orange amber hue, a bit hazy, and a frothy but not overdone head. The smell was kinda hard to pin down. Once it hit the mouth, I could tell this was an excellent beer that was simultaneously interesting and tasteful enough to make it a regular beer. It's not terribly floral, but you can really get the taste of rye and hints of pepper. For a particularly savory beer, it's incredibly light. Definitely sessionable if you're not looking for something super fruity. Overall, I can imagine this beer becoming a regular for me and would recommend you seek it out. Superior brewmanship.

On the sweet side for IPA. Clean short finish. Head disappeared very quickly. Had it on draught in a restaurant. I would defiantly drink it again. I found it enjoyable with my meal. It's non-IPA drinker (my wife) friendly.

Having discovered it at a local market, and rarely anywhere else, I keep finding excuses to go back for it. It comes in a tall-boy 4 pack and the cans look like a 1970's take on a California Craftsman woodcut. This beer has a deep, relaxed citrus and rye flavor that opens up well in a (wide-mouthed) English pint glass.

My regular for a year now, I have found few beers I enjoy as much as this. The color and flavor here appeal to me, especially when it's a fresh can. These really cannot sit in my refrigerator for more that 2-3 days: it's too good, and I think it really needs to be consumed while as fresh as possible.

Kidd of on the sweet side for an IPA with floral notes. Medium hopiness. I like it in that it's a little different, not quite as dry and hops maybe a little less in your face than the usual American IPA. Overall good but for me probably only 1, because the sweeter character is too much for more than one. I should emphasize that it's not sweet like a red or a Porter, just sweet for an IPA.
