fairly small inside - there is a bar and then some tables to the left. Not a lot of seating - luckily our group made reservations. The tap list is all high quality craft beers - mix of local and regional breweries. our waiter was good and gave suggestions on food and drink when asked. the food was very good.

I checked this place out while on a trip through Albany with my brother on route to Vermont. The place is cozy and there were not many in the place at the time we were there which was nice. The selection of beers was very good and the pizza we enjoyed was very tasty with some fresh ingredients and great crust.

The quality and service were both excellent and I would recommend this place to anyone in the area since I got to try Jack's Abby babymaker that might have made my visit a little better than expected.

A: The building is a converted former pizza joint, so wood paneling and low ceilings abound. The open kitchen retains a pizza joint feel and a small bar butts up to it facing the door. Kind of a small, uncomfortable space. There's definitely more of a dining focus. If you just want to post up at the bar, I'd recommend heading elsewhere. If you're able to sit outside on the sidewalk patio area, it's much more enjoyable. EDIT: After the renovation, it's a much nicer, more comforatable space to spend time in.

Q: This place puts a high level of focus on their food and compliments it nicely with their craft beer options. No complaints on this front, although as mentioned later, the selection could be a bit more expansive.

S: Service is prompt and friendly. The waitstaff and bartenders aren't super knowledgeable about beer, but are attentive and provide a solid experience.

S: The taplist is generally pretty decent. 16 craft options, with a good mix of styles. Rarely do they have a "must try" taplist, but there's never a problem finding a couple of good options. There's also a nice focus on local beers, with offerings from Keegan's, Crossroads and Chatham regularly making appearances.

F: The food here is really the star. The burgers are made with local, grassfed beef. The poutine is the best I've had in the US. When they have them, the Wagyu beef Chicago dogs are ridiculously good. I've never gotten the pizza, but everyone I know who's gotten it has been very pleased (as you'd expect from a former pizza place). You won't regret getting a meal here.

Overall, the vibe of this place isn't great, but it's a cool place to go for dinner and drinks. The food and some of the beer options can lean a bit pricey, but great happy hour deals ($3 pints of certain beers and 1/2 price burgers) make up for it. Definitely worth a trip.
