Growler filled at DeCicco's in Ardsley, NY

Pours murky, lighter amber, high quality looking head, starts with good height, goes to a nice tiny bubble film , then leaves all sorts of fine, high and wispy lacing.

Potent hopped up nose. Grapefruit, orange, tropical fruit all abound.

This is a super tasty, fresh tasting DIPA. Loads of citric hoppy goodness on the palate, including more grapefruit and pinapple shining through. Big shouldered ale, with alcohol well in check. Quality creation from this new brewery. They are local to me and they are turning out some great beers...looking forward to trying more.

Had a growler from the brewery. Poured clear amber with a tall white head. I'm not easily impressed by DIPAs, there are so many good ones out there. This, however, is notably delicious. There's a huge juicy fruit and floral side with smooth, oily bitterness complemented by a rich, sharp grapefruit peel and zest. Big aroma, big flavor, and a body that's not too big. I'm a fan.

Poured from a growler.

A: Dark amber, one finger of head.

S: Easily one of the best smelling beers I've experienced. An absolute citrus delight. Pineapple, Orange maybe some mango.

T: The taste backs up the smell nicely. Maybe not as intense, but still an immensely citrus tasting beer. More pineapple, orange, grapefruit in there. Well balanced.

M: Medium to high carbonation. Very nice.

O: This is right up there with the best double Ipas out there.

On draft at the Dutch Ale House, Saugerties, NY.

Poured a medium bronze hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell features a balmy citric hop with some tropical fruit highlights.

The taste consisted of a full blown sticky, resinous hop assault. Pine , grapefruit, orange and pineapple dominated.

The mouthfeel was full with a residual bitterness.

Overall a superior DIPA. Fresh and local to this area as well.

Growler into glass

A - Clear dark amber (a little reddish) color with moderate head and lacing

S - Smells like Simcoe Hops (I am familiar with Wyerbacher Double Simcoe), Hops, Citrus, Pine resin

T - Great balance of the flavors from the nose, hops, citrus, pine plus a bit of bread, has a real clean finish

M - Medium-High carbonation, medium body, very crisp

O - Great! Got from family member from the area for Xmas, an all around great beer with an aggresive and balanced flavor profile and very drinkable for the ABV, awesome gift and awesome beer! I am excited to get a few growlers of this breweries other beers.
