32 ounce growler filled at the Green Growler Grocery, Croton-on-Hudson, NY

Pours hazed medium golden amber, under a looser off white head, and leaving a tiny bubble film, thin collar and quality fine high sheeting and loose fields of lace.

Lemon and light pepper on the nose.

Bright, lemony, peppery and yeasty saison. Nicely crafted and well worth a try.

Had on tap at the brewery and brought a growler home. This is what Indra Kunindra would be if it were a saison. Weird right? It works and this is one tasty beer if you like lemongrass and coriander.

Light golden brew with a hazy body and a fluffy white head. Pretty solid retention and lacing out of the growler. Aroma is grainy and full of yeasty Belgian esters, citrusy hops, and peppery spice, but the lemongrass really jumps out front in a lovely way.

Flavor follows the nose fairly closely; the lemongrass hits you first and foremost; pepper from both the addition of white peppercorns and from phenols comes at you next; citrus and lightly floral hops; coriander (both seed and leaf); modest grainy malt backbone. Complex and tasty; thai-food in a refreshing saison package.

Medium-light bodied, medium-crisp carbonation. Unique and easy to drink and really lovely overall. Won't be everybody's cup of tea but we really enjoyed this.

This is the bottled edition with Brettanomyces.

Pours dark straw, cloudy, a quick to leave finger of white foam, finally broken skim, and impressive legs of lace on glass.

Coriander and light lemon, tart yeast, earthy funk in the back, with hints of deeper Brett notes and even a touch of pepper. Spice fronts the bouquet, but it is so delicious that it also makes the aroma enticing.

All the flavors of the nose in a medium strength taste. Quite balanced and delicious, with a nice bit of herbal bitter in the end of sip. As it warms pepper becomes more noticeable, coriander steps back, the tart begins to step up, finish gets complex.

Medium bodied, quite light on palate, a bit of resin buildup from the spice, wonderful finish.

The Brett in this will probably get stronger with time. It is good now, but could end to be phenomenal. Highly recommended.

Serving Type: on tap at the Craftsman. Beer always seems better on tap. Maybe it's just because someone else is poring it for me.

Appearance: a hazy golden hue

Taste: very nice mellow saison. You get light farmhouse flavors with plenty belgian yeast. Very refreshing and way too easy to drink.

Overall: This beer is a must if it's on the menu. Fantastic light saison that will please fans of the style as well as those who are just looking for satisfying suds.
