A: Pours a relatively clear medium golden yellow in color with moderate amount of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint amber highlights. The beer has a finger tall foamy off-white head that reduces to a very large patch of mottled medium thick film covering the majority of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light aromas of pale malts with a light amount of biscuit malts as well. Light to moderate aromas of grassy + floral hops.

T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of biscuit and pale malts with a light hint of honey sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of grassy + floral hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which does not linger.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth.

O: Easy to drink and refreshing, this is a decent beer for a warm spring evening in the South. Not one of my go to styles but a nice representation of it nonetheless. Alcohol is well hidden.

Poured from a tall boy into a shaker pint, the beer is a bright, vibrant, goldenrod coloring with a foamy, clingy, white head. Aromas of toasted grains, tangy sweet honey, and some floral hops notes. Flavors are tangy and richly sweet forward, with honey and subtle buttercream on a cracker and toast backbone. Some peppery and floral hops highlights keep the palate interested, as well as clean up all the sweet notes. Full bodied and very smooth, this is a robust blonde. The aftertaste is more of the roasted and sweet notes, still packing a punch at the end of the taste buds. Smooth finish with a slightly increased tangy sweet kick right at the end. Good beer.

One of the best blonde ales I've had in awhile and is actually my go-to the infrequent times I'm at the brewery. In my mind, this is a sessionable beer that would convert others from the big three. But, this beer packs a creamy, buttery punch (not too hard) that screams, "I might be a common style, but I'm still bad-ass!"

Balanced between malt and hops, this beer gives a little of each to everyone. It's medium carbonation and light aroma give it and effervescent quality perfect for drinking in the NC heat and humidity.
