Pours opaque, black in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is roasted coffee, charred malt, and light vanilla. Slightly above average coffee based imperial stout, not bad, but nothing to rush out and get.

Beige head which settles to a thin layer of rim bubbles. Leaves good ring lace after each sip. The liquid is dark enough to prevent any light from passing.
Chocolate aroma with a chalky and plasticy smell.
The flavor is different from most stouts in that there is a metal mechanical taste. Not as dark or bitter from the malt as most. Think brown ale. The swallow gets a bit of the burnt black patent malt. This continues through the finish. The body and carbonation is true to the style.
