I love a light and simple golden ale and we had just visisted the House of Seven Gables earlier in the day, it was a must have.

A light gold, perfect thin white foam, easy, clear look.

The aroma is a clean, slightly sweet honey-ish malt with a subtle bready aroma, green veggie and earthy hops makes me wanna start gulpin'. The yeast comes off almost like a Belgian golden with subtle fruit and tanginess.

The flavor is just what I'm about right now, simple, crisp, light, refreshing with a nice complexity from a really good malt flavor, gentle honey and slightly buttery effect, the hops come off as green, veggie and light but effective and slightly earthy. Yeast adding a mild fruity, zest punch, the yeast is really a nice surprise.

The feel is light, crisp and wicked refreshing, just what i needed!!

Served as a brilliant golden colored beer with massive white puffy head.
Smell is sweet and very fruity.
Taste is also sweet, a bit too sweet for my liking.
The first several tastes are refreshing, then the sweetness becomes overpowering.
An average beer. Not really something I could drink more than one of.

Hmm...not 100% sure of the style, as this beer was listed as a 'Canadian Style Golden Ale.' The description also indicated it had some brewers maize in the ingredients. Anyway, clear light golden in color when served, I detected some tooty-fruityness in the aroma. The clingy white head did a good job sticking to all sides of the glass. Mouthfeel was surprisingly slighty chewy at first. I thought initially there was a more crackerlike taste, but that the finish was more of the corn-fed variety. Still decent to drink.
