I was told this was Beer Works' best beer. I beg to differ, but it was definitely interesting.
A - dark golden color, dark cream foam with hint of that blueish/purplish color you see when you squish a blueberry, but that might have come from the blueberry garnish in the beer. The blueberries in the beer seemed frozen, but definitely a fun and interesting take on a beer.
S - Not a very strong smell, had a sort of crisp melon/banana smell.
T - Not very complex, but the flavor matched well with the blueberry aspect
M - short linger, with a bit of an acid feel

Pours a one finger white head that vanishes quickly leaving no lace. Nearly clear light straw color. Good carbonation and light bodied. Faint blueberry nose and flavor is a watery, tart blueberry, good lawnmower beer and not much else. $1.99 for a 12oz bottle from Julio's Liquors Marlboro, MA.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass.
A: Crystal clear and golden in color. Two fingers of white head sputter out almost immediately. No lacing.
S: Malt base is biscuity and slightly doughy malt base. Fresh and authentic blueberry aroma is the focal point. Very clean and neutral, not much else going on.
T: Grainy malts open. Biscuit. Blueberry flavor takes center stage, but is careful not to ham it up and ruin the performance. Hollow hop bitterness, not really any hop flavor. Very clean and neutral. Quick and dry finish of cracker and blueberry.
M: Light body. Slight firmness. Seltzery carbonation blasts through a creamy texture and adds a crisp bite.
O: It won't win the hearts of hardcore beer geeks, but it's simple, quaffable, and crowd pleasing. I think that's what they were going for too. It's a decent beer that doesn't overstep it bounds. This gives it a leg up on much of the blueberry ale competition.
