On draft at the Beer Works in Logan Airport.
Appearance: A one finger mocha head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a dark brown/black color with no vision of anything. Spotty lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.
Smell: Sweet and bready oats, a little chocolate, roasty, smoke, old ale.
Taste: Same as above with a little bitterness in there too.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied, a little chewy, some ashy bitterness, and medium carbonation.
Overall: Pretty nice oatmeal stout. I'll revisit this one again.

Poured on-tap and served in a tumbler, the beer is a dark ruby-brown coloring, almost black, with a thin, off-white film that clings as you drink. Aromas of cream, chocolate, and coffee blending together for a sweet nose. Flavors are more towards the dark side, with a solid bitter coffee backbone giving rise to subtle chocolate and roasted characteristics. The aftertaste is the bitterness of the dark roasted coffee tones, with a bitter, dry finish. Tasty brew.

Had on 3/11/11.
This beer pours a pitch black color with a small brown head into my glass.
Coffee and cocoa present themselves in the aroma, which should be expected for the style.
The palate is dominated by flavors of coffee and cream. It's a simple, no-frills layout.
Mouthfeel is slick with only a hint of coffee remaining. Not much else to decipher here. Perhaps a bit thin.
This oatmeal stout is decent at best. It went ok with my meal.
