On tap at Wine 101 in Wake Forest
A - clear gold with a big, white, frothy head that had good retention
S - fruity esters, grapes, apples
T - sugar, cereal grains, fruit, apples
M - medium bodied, really well carbonated and smooth
This beer didn't impress me at first. Upon the first sip I thought it was a bit sugary and fruity for the style. There wasn't any spice or funky yeast to settle the esters. After a few sips however it began to grow on me. It is a refreshing beer that is very easy to drink. Once the beer warmed a bit the flavors meshed and it became more enjoyable. It's definitely worth checking if you get the chance.
