Appearance: a wooden brown color with perfect clarity. No head or lacing to speak of. Looks too light and off
Smell: weak. No yeast character. I mainly get dark candi sugar
Taste: opens up with a light dark candi sugar and progresses into a grassy almost light lagerish taste. No yeast character or dark fruit. Also watery
Mouthfeel: light and dull
Overall: I usually try to find good things but this was just impossible to do here. Too light, and I wander what yeast they used because it was nonexistent.

There was nothing about this beer that resembles a true belgo dubbel.
Hazy and unfiltered with a thick, splotchy, loosely carbonated head. This beer appears a bit lighter in color than the style calls for
No esters present
Light in body and flavor with nothing indicating a Belgian, let alone a beer above 6%.
Undercarbonated. Too light. Nothing redeeming about this.
Back to the drawing board. At least they had Rip Van Winkle on the shelves. Might rope some suckers into spending money here. Otherwise, I hope the food is awesome.
