Smells and tastes just like iced coffee. Delicious.

If you like coffee you'll like this beer. I tried both the Kona and the cask Kona. The regular was a little bit too carbonation for my taste, so I enjoyed the cask Kona more. It's a light (not heavy) beer that I liked better than Wolaver's Alta Gracia Coffee Porter, which while a porter, is similar in flavor.

Very strong coffee flavor, too much for my liking and I really like coffee.

Obviously a Brown Ale.
A solid one at that.

This beer is very dark in appearance, but is not super heavy to drink. I'm not exactly sure what type of beer this is, I think the description said American Amber / Red Ale, but this beer has lots of coffee and malty notes that really adds a nice element.

Pours brown in color and slightly hazy. Not a whole lot if light makes it through this beer. Head is about one finger light tan and retains nicely.

Smell is great. Great fresh aromatic coffee notes along with some slight nuttiness from the malt that gives this a hazelnut coffee like aroma. Very pleasant. Nice rich toffee like malt finish in the nose. Awesome aromas with this one.

Taste follows the nose with rich coffee and toffee malt flavors that blend wonderfully giving this an awesome rich warm flavor on the front end. Some lighter caramel like malt finishes with some mild sweetness and a very mild earthy hoppy bitterness.

Mouthfeel is good. Mild stickiness but light body keeps this very drinkable.

This is an awesome coffee brown everything I love in the style blended perfectly with fresh coffee flavors and aromas and all around well balanced

Coffee bomb... Which is an improvement over earlier renditions.

"Kona is smooth and dry, neatly hopped, has caramel appeal and a dash of sweetness".

Clear, deep, dark mahogany in color, with a fine tan head and very good lacing.
Not much except coffee in the nose. At first, it seems like the taste will follow, but a substantial roasted malt component soon kicks. It eventually fades leaving a lasting coffee aftertaste. I liked this beer, and the coffee component in particular, more than their Single Origin. Single Origin, however, is a more unusual brew.
