Poured into a pilsner glass, the beer is a vibrant gold with a billowy, brilliant white head that cling to the glass and takes a long time to subside. Very bubbly and active.
Smell is quite sweet, a bit like clover honey and fresh flowers, and really gets you excited to taste it. Once in the mouth, though, the beer is a letdown--it's not bad, just not great. While it feels fairly thick, the taste is actually thin and watered down, reminiscent of soft, chewy dinner rolls that were slightly overcooked.
So much hope from the appearance and smell, but the rest of the beer just couldn't deliver.

Served in a big, frosty litre mug at my local watering hole - The Baltic... my kinda beer, not too hoppy, sweet but not too sweet and enough but not too much aroma to keel you over the next day. ... a huge kick, too.... yummy....If you're in the East Bay and wanna good beer at a reasonable price.... Try The Baltic for happy hour...
