Much thanks to the Abita rep in Jacksonville for opening this...
Appears a transparent light gold with a small white cap that quickly fades into a mild collar. Scattered bits of lacing are left around the glass.
Smell is honeysuckle, cracked wheat bread, and melted demerara sugar.
Taste is of th aromas with intensified flavors of doughy lager yeast and honey with light peaches pulling through with gentle spicing.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, chewy, syrupy, and sticky sweet.

Served in a big, frosty litre mug at my local watering hole - The Baltic... my kinda beer, not too hoppy, sweet but not too sweet and enough but not too much aroma to keel you over the next day. ... a huge kick, too.... yummy....If you're in the East Bay and wanna good beer at a reasonable price.... Try The Baltic for happy hour...
