A: Poured a light golden yellow with a slight tinge of red/pink shading. Head started frothy, thick, and creamy, and settled uniformly to a thin lace over the top. There are a few isolated oases of lace on the glass.
S: Strawberries are definitely subdued in the nose, which surprised me given the nature of most fruit beers. There's a strong grainy malt aroma that blends well with the smell of fresh strawberries. It's certainly an intriguing aroma, but it's not robust enough for a fruit beer. The smells should just be jumping out of the glass, serving as a potpourri for the entire drinking experience.
T: Interesting flavor, as well. Dried strawberries enter prominently late and linger long through the finish. The initial flavor is of pale, grainy malts, but it isn't prominent enough. The flavor doesn't get interesting until the finish, however. The dried strawberry thing is really holding the score in this category up.
M&D: It's light bodied with a substantial amount of carbonation (too much, in my opinion) that bitters/mellows out some of the sweeter flavors that need more prominent exposure. The beer has a relatively long finish, yet is somewhat crisp and refreshing. The mouthfeel diminishes from the flavor and experience to such an extent that I'm docking the drinkability score. While this is a semi-refreshing fruit beer that isn't too over the top, the flavor isn't sufficient to keep me coming back for more.

12 oz bottle poured into pint glass
A: Poured pale hazy yellow with fingers worth of head that settles to a ring with some spotty lacing.
S: First thing I'm is of course strawberry with a mix sweet vanilla upfront... Not much else but it works for this brew.
T: I'm getting wheat upfront with a hint of citrus, things turn sweet mid-palette with strawberry and vanilla. Finish is also sweet but a little more corny in the end.
M: Light with good lively carbonation and a clean finish.
O: Hey it is what it is.... a strawberry wheat and it is very good at being that. Worth looking for if you like the style.
