A: Very light, limited cloudiness. 1/2-1 finger head.
S: Gives off a strong scent of strawberries, which dominates any malty notes. My first strawberry lager but it seems too overpowering.
T: Strawberry flavor is plentiful, yet tart. More maltiness in a sip than smell, but an absence of seemingly necessary hops.
M: Smooth enough so that the tartness does not linger on the tongue; light.
D: Not a "go-to" beer, but will finish 6-pack.

I split this bottle with my wife, not expecting to much, and it pretty much filled that bill.Poured a lighter golden color with a half finger white head that is gone pretty quickly.Aromas have some biscuit mixed with strawberry, not overly done, not bad.Flavors seem to be a little watery with the mouthfeel being quite thin, the strawberry flavors are sweetish and dont really lend a big hand, some mild toasted notes in the finish.Eh its ok but not anything I would have again.

A lot of bubbles whirling around in a golden haze with a blanket of white foam on top, the head lasting the duration of the glass.
Pilsner-like aroma with a shot of strawberry quick/frankenberry in there.
The taste is mostly strawberry cream and some pale grain fading in and out.
Chuggable on a hot day, not much else.

This beer has a rather unappealing old lemon-flesh color with a thick, white head that reduces to one finger and leaves a stringy lace. It has a sour, musty aroma with strawberies and cracked grain pushing up.
Light citrus flavors cover a mellow strawberry flavor that lingers far below the surface. It adds an unexpected tang and is pushed up by herbal hops. The grain contribution is very soft and round, making this beer rather pilsner-like in that respect. Berry spritzes back up in the finish.
Mouthfeel is stingy with extremely fine pins and needles carbonation. Its slick and ligfht-bodied.
I really think this might be Abita's best offering and one of the best fruit beers I've ever had. The base style is a great pick for the fruit, and it scores big points with me for not being wheat.

I haven't poured this into a glass, so no comment about the appearance.
When I smelled the beer I was apprehensive because there is a prevalent scent of something like shortbread and whipped cream in addition to strawberries. Kind of unappetizingly sweet and baked good-like in my opinion. However, the beer tastes great. The strawberries come across very fresh and tart, with no overbearing sweetness and no fake fruit flavor. This tastes like fresh, unsugared berries with very light lager. The mouthfeel is light with not very much carbonation and the lager doesn't coat the tongue at all.
I almost never buy lagers because of how light and often tasteless they can be, but in this case the flavors work and the effect is pleasant and refreshing, almost like a very dry cider.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz (short neck) bottle into a pint glass. On the back label it reads "BEST IF CONSUMED BEFORE" and there are numbers 1 to 12 on the left edge and 1 to 31 on the right edge, however nothing is marked. Also there is no abv is listed on the label but there is a nice short description of the beer.
Appearance: Its body has a brilliant deep yellow blond color with just the very slightest chill haze. The pour produces a tall bright white head. It is light, fluffy and fleeting, which means it fades out quickly and makes no lacing.
Smell: As I poured this beer into the glass it smelled as if I was opening up a box of Special K cereal with strawberries. It has that same dehydrated strawberry character which is backed up by light grain notes.
Taste/Palate: This one is simple, crisp and very refreshing. It is just as the aroma advertised it to be, light dehydrated strawberry with cereal grain. The finish is snappy, crisp and refreshing. Its palate has a light body with balanced carbonation.
Notes: I feel this is a solid summer time beer but aside from warm weather refreshment I really wouldn't seek this one out.

Bottle pours a clear yellow body with an average sized white head. Some patchy lacing clings to the glass. Aroma is cooked strawberries and sweetish malts. Light medium body is crisply carbonated. Taste is dominated by an upfront strawberry fruitiness that to its credit is not at all artificial. Some clean lager traits hover underneath but hop presence is very fleeting. Quite well done for what it is. Pleasantly drinkable for a fruit beer.

The head is a gorgeous thick white foam, but it dissipated very quickly. The beer itself is a nice strong dark yellow color.
The first scent that hits is strawberry, along with some peach and a hint of lemon. There's also an interesting pastry scent to it. It smells great and inviting.
The taste is AWESOME. It tastes like a strawberry shortcake-- the strawberry and the bready/grainyness are the two most dominant flavors. It also has a very nice aftertaste, just a mellower version of the main taste.
Mouth feel isn't great. It's a little thinner than I like-- and for something as sweet as this is, I feel like a touch more body would be good. Still though, it IS an excellent mouthfeel for a summer beer-- nice, crisp, and fresh. It's a little low on the carbonation, but it's almost like a bear soda-- you could make a super beer float with this and some vanilla icecream.

Appearance: high carbonation, 1/4 inch head, slightly hazy gold
Smell: strawberries--some malt
Taste: strawberries--both sweet and semi-ripe, hops towards the middle, a slightly malty and sugary end
Mouthfeel: crisp, sweet, can feel the high carbonation throughout
Drinkability: Very nice for a fruit beer. The high carbonation makes this feel like a strawberry sparkling wine--moreso than beer. This is better than most of Abita's offerings, but due to the sometimes intense sweetness, I think the max I could have is two.

The beer pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a large white head. The aroma is heavy on the strawberries with some wheat mixed in. The aroma is fairly syrupy. The flavor is strawberry, wheat and some vanilla. The beer tastes a lot like a strawberry Jolly Rancher. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not bad, a pretty good use of fruit in a beer.

Single bottle from Premier Gourmet in Buffalo. On a bit of a beer run, and wanted some randoms to fill out my mixed six pack. It's summer, it's hot, and so this seemed to do the trick.
Poured into a fluted glass. Very pale yellow, visible champagne carbonation, a billowy head quickly dissolves into nothingness.
Nose is pleasant: strawberries, a bit of cream, biscuit, pale wheat malt.
Light, certainly refreshing, with a tart lemon counterpoint to the strawberry flavor, which arrives later in the sip. Tastes a bit artificial, but it's not bad. Sort of like strawberry cake. The base, I have to say, is a real let down - very watery, not much to it, and the pale wheat flavour is not entirely pleasant. Still, it tastes fine and goes down extremely well.
Decent summer fruit ale, but too light for me.

This was an interesting beer to try though I would be reluctant to ever order it. The flavor was basically of dehydrated strawberries, as one would be familar w/ in Captain Crunch ceral. Though not having had any other fruit style beers it is hard to be fair in judging this beer entirely.

12oz bottle poured into a perfect pint glass.
Pours a really light and hazy yellow with no head or lacing at all. Nose is quite odd, it's sweet and wheaty and smetying is jsut odd.
Taste... Ehh I had it when I was younger and liked it but now it's just weird. There's lots of wheat and a light hint of strawberry it's really odd. Skip it and get their regular beers.
