Popped off the screw-cap and poured -- too cold -- into a tall pilsner glass. It's a pale straw yellow, hazy, with a cute white cap that fades to a few centimeters pretty quickly. It sticks around, but leaves no lacing.
I remember this brew fairly fondly, but it's been a while... the initial taste is light malts and a bit of corn, but suddenly a silly, candy-like strawberry wave floods the senses and I'm back in my parent's house on a Saturday morning, eating a huge bowl of Captain Crunch with Crunchberries and watching Ducktales while my mother eyes the bowl of delicious sugary goodness with suspicion. In fact... yeah, this is pretty much the same flavor. Maybe a bit less sweet, and finishes with a sour twist that keeps it out of the realm of complete absurdity.
It also smells just like the aforementioned cereal. Bizarre, yet comforting.
Mouthfeel is light and slightly crisp, with a decent middling carbonation and a sour, fruity and corny finish. A little disappointing.
Strawberry Harvest isn't the kind of beer I'd drink on a regular basis, but I have to admit being a bit charmed by it... it's certainly more interesting than your normal macro lager. If you like pseudo-strawberry flavor then this may be your kind of thing. Worth a 6 pack a year purchase in my book.

12 oz bottle poured into pint glass
A: Poured pale hazy yellow with fingers worth of head that settles to a ring with some spotty lacing.
S: First thing I'm is of course strawberry with a mix sweet vanilla upfront... Not much else but it works for this brew.
T: I'm getting wheat upfront with a hint of citrus, things turn sweet mid-palette with strawberry and vanilla. Finish is also sweet but a little more corny in the end.
M: Light with good lively carbonation and a clean finish.
O: Hey it is what it is.... a strawberry wheat and it is very good at being that. Worth looking for if you like the style.
