Pours a transparent light amber color. White foamy head dissipates quickly to a very thin white layer. Some lacing.
Smells of sweet malt, and some candied fruit. Some hints of grass and perhaps some faint smoke hints.
Taste is malt sweetness, with some sweet candied fruit in the finish. Just a hint of smoke in the background, and a little bit of spice and fruit in the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a little carbonation in the finish.
This is a good example of a Maibock. A fun beer for the fest season!
